Has the OP bought the cables yet? Did he take the advise or buy shitty cheap cables anyway after asking?


Also here is a good SCART to Component adaptor Bob from RetroRGB.com likes. I trust his opinion as he tests so much stuff.

I've been using these S-video cables with my PVM and it's great fwiw.  I didn't feel like jumping down the RGB rabbit hole yet.  It's a huge step up from composite and they aren't those cheapo retrobit cables that have s-video and composite.  They're handmade by some dude in poland.
