If I were one of those backers, I would have demanded my money back. That's an absurd amount of money to watch someone collect these games and hear him bitch about how his daddy raped him like a good boy. Well maybe not raped, but you get the idea.

Seriously, where's the timestamp for the dad stuff? I didn't make past the first 15 minutes and I'm not in a hurry to try again

Sorry Punch, you'll have to watch it all the way through yourself to see!  lol

The director (the big guy who pops in to narrate) is making another movie I believe about retro game box art - which does sound kind of interesting I admit.  If it already has a finalized name, it escapes me.  The movie may even be out already.  He seems like a decent enough guy, so maybe that documentary won't suck as much.

It has been a long time since I saw this but I believe its in the first half of the film, before they even get any games

From what I've heard about this film, it's difficult to see who the audience is supposed to be. It's obviously not gamers. Even collectors want to hear an interesting history or acquisition story with an item. A collector would also be very interested in final sale prices. Everyone wants to hear about a great deal!

Though irrelevant and completely outside the scope of the film, I wouldn't mind the guy saying that he was glad that his father was dead had that been the case.  It may have been but that's not what the film says.  The film would have me believe that his father liked sports but didn't like nintendo or the music the main character liked so said main character was glad his father was dead.

No legitimate grievance was mentioned but he was glad his father was dead.  It was a bad movie.

Whenever I think of the typical Nintendoage drone, I think of this guy from the movie.

Me not reading the "fine print". Whatever, HE is a total different thing, I'm sure everything will turn out great.

for the cause... for the cause... wtf

I was so curious about the dad thing I had it on until I heard them mention something about dads, and I got the time stamp.

45:00 in.

They should not have included that in the film, so weird.

How does this guy have such an blessed life, and speak of it so negatively. Crazy to me.

Danm dude, bringing it back... No holds barred!
