The Turbo-Grafx box alone takes me back to the good ole' days. I remember walking through Kay Bee toys and seeing all three 16-bit consoles in the glass case. The TG section wasn't nearly as prominent as Sega's and Nintendo's was, but it had a little nook carved out at the tail-end of the case. As usual, boxed consoles were placed at the bottom; there were four TG-16's compared to the dozen or so SNESs and Gennys.
Oh, if I could do the late 80's/early 90's all over again...
I love hearing stuff like this. I only have extremely vague memories of the Canadian store RadioShack carrying some stuff; nothing crazy.
For some reason I was picturing a "nook" large enough to walk inside and look around. The walls covered with boxed games, and kiosks plugged in showing off games.
