mas can suck a dick in my book, but I don't particularly like seeing anyone get ripped off.
given a google link posted in the NA thread gex linked, I'm somewhat inclined to believe him.
malicious or not, the # of situations similar to this point to some serious problems with lukiegames, as DDan said.
I never personally had a problem with selling to lukiegames, but I have noticed they won a few auctions under different accounts. Very shady shit there. Surprised this has been going on for so long without ebay taking action.

Their business though is the main reason I quit selling lots on ebay. Rather sell directly to the people and beat lukie's price than chance sell to them again.

Agreed, I'd much rather sell here or on NG.com.
then other forums.
then FB.
then trade in at a local shop.
THEN ebay.

Wow, I went down the rabbit hole on that NintendoAge stuff about lukiegames, damn.  If they ever win an auction from me there is no way I would ship, would totally straight up cancel the sale now.

I certainly wouldn't buy from them either after learning of these shenanigans.

I once took a chance on one of the big eBay sellers who list loose games with stock photos of CIB copies. It was probably lukie. They had a hard to find game on their own website for a fraction of what it was selling and being listed for on eBay, but were still using a single stock photo and minimal details.

I did everything I could to prepare for them trying to pull a scam and contacted them to get specifics and got them to confirm that each piece that it should come with when "complete" was in fact included.

They wouldn't even confirm condition beyond saying that it shouldn't have any real defects and that I'd get one random copy from a stack they had.

I was shocked when it arrived in time, was fully complete and more or less in perfect condition.

It's been at least 5+ years but I know I've bought from LukieGames in the past and I don't recall any specific issues in dealing with them. But clearly their business practices have changed considerably over the years. Just the idea of buying stuff off ebay to resell on ebay to me feels shady.

A similar case happened to a user DreamTR awhile ago, and Luckie replied to his thread

I read that thread pretty thoroughly, and I still say that's a BS response.
Quantity doesn't matter, mistakes like this cost business every time they happen, wouldn't you want to minimize them?
And if the argument is "they're small, cut them some slack" I call bullshit.
I hold up my end of the bargain, you do the same.

See my feelings is on this and why I posted on different forums and I already wrote this on another site is pretty much the same thing I'm writing now.

I don't care how you feel about me or what you think or say about me or how I can f*ck off or suck a dick or be a flipper or collectard or reseller or a$$hole or whatever. Bottom line I do not like people getting ripped off or having people steal from other people.

This company makes tons of money buying and selling. They go ahead and grab all the good lots on eBay so they are stealing from an auctioneer who will collect or enjoy or play the games. So they already are stealing from them.

Second they will go thru and leave positive feedback or lukie games will ask for you to go and do positive feedback. Then they will say they never got the package or there is a big hole in the package and ask for the product or ask for a refund. If you say no, they won't go to eBay and file a claim they go to PayPal and put a hold and file a claim.

If you don't have proof they win and keep your games. To me that is stealing from you, and the person who thought they were getting a good deal on games, and stealing from PayPal. That's not right no matter who it is.
