Hurricane rant...
« on: September 09, 2017, 10:39:08 AM »
Rant on:

To all of the people upset that a storm has currently changed trajectory slightly and lost some steam (After hitting mountains of all things) sad because they had to bother to clear the way makes me sick to my stomach, There people have no regard for anyone or anything, and frankly I hope this thing comes right up their collective asses and wipes out everything they own, then maybe just MAYBE they will learn an ounce of humility. To those that actually care and got out, I hope your things stay safe. I know it sounds crass but right now I've lost hope for some nay people that just don't seem to give a shit.

f*ck these people.

/rant off...

Eh? They're upset because the storm didn't ravage them?

I'm kinda of curious what the climate change deniers are going to say about all these storms and fires we have had this year. This is particulary disheartening considering a dumb teenager caused it:
Anyone who has ever gone to the northwest to the Columbia Gorge knows its something out of Middle Earth. Now it looks like Mordor.

The media can feel free to share some of the blame for creating a disaster bloodlust in this country.

The sudden shift is making me a tad anxious. I have a lot of family and friends in central Florida, including a few who evacuated. They're safe now, but man, they may not have a place to live afterward...

These natural disasters are hitting closer and closer to home every year. The SD fire a few years ago, hurricane Irene and Sandy here in NY, now Irma. Climate change is getting out of hand.
