Odd,... I've been active almost daily. I'm new to this forum too. I guess next time I'll have to concoct a super exciting back story so I can please you.

 

Yeah, limited quantities so, yeah- people did more to get in on the action.

Now that I've played through it, it's a neat piece of history, and I'm sure I'll show it off next time I have obeyers over, but SO MUCH AUDIO has been cut from the game. It's a weird feeling playing through it.

I just got the disc in the mail yesterday.  Going to get the turbo cd out tonight and give it a go.  Going to have the songs of this game stuck in my head all week.

My guess is it's the nature of the prototype. Pretty much all the Japanese voices have been removed. "STA PARODIA!" between levels is gone. All the powerup voices are gone. I bet they planned on replacing them with English or other sound effects eventually.

I don't know if it was my Duo or not, but during the cutscene at the end of the game, the music cut out. It didn't cut out at all during the game, but I plan on playing through it again to see if if it cuts out again.
