Finally, a decent article at Hudson!

In other Hudson news, it appears that a patch for Military Madness on Wii's VC is now available. It's the first game to use the "Update" feature.

In other other Hudson news, they deleted all the forum threads that complained about the shitty emulation of Military Madness on the Wii.

Looking at the logs from my website, I noticed that I was sending some traffic to one thread in particular (I had linked to it), but I doubt that was the reason they deleted the threads. I suppose that once the patch was issued, they wanted to sanitize the boards since the crappy emulation was no longer an issue.

In other other other Hudson news, does anyone here visit the boards over there any more? I stopped a long time ago because they were pretty uneventful... and now it is a chore to check the site.

But I've noticed that George P. has been contributing some articles... hopefully he will continue... :)

What's the scoop with George? I remember he used to be active on TurboList, but then he seemingly disappeared. I have yet to re-join TurboList, so forgive me if I'm out of the loop :).

:)

I don't like the vibe over on the Hudson boards and some of the "official"'s seem kinda anti-Hudson. Like they don't know or care about anything Hudson's done previous to their getting hired 6 months ago, but are totally pumped about improvements "they"'ve made to crusty old franchises, like with Bomberman Zero.

I hope they haven't deleted all the anti-filter threads. At least this along with the update is a good sign that threatening their bottom line can get them to correct their mistakes.

Hmm, that's a very interesting article.  I still go over to those boards, though not quite as much.

The last I heard of George was when I bought some games from him. Space Cruiser Yamato, ROM ROM Stadium...some other stuff. That was a long long time ago. Right around the time Super PC Engine Fan Deluxe #1 came out, I think.

Great article, thanks for the link!

For awhile I stopped visiting Hudson's boards since it was a chore, as steve said. But recently I have been checking them out daily, mostly reading instead of posting.

I know exactly what you mean and agree 100%. The bottom line, those "officials" aren't Turbo gamers worth shit :D .

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I just read the full article. It looks like "16Shot" uses the same trick I do to tap rapidly.  :D

I don't know if everyone here is aware of this, but I coached 16shot back in the day. I'm proud that the little kid I mentored has had a long, interesting career. :)

I concur. They didn't even seem to be too familiar with the current games, IMO. Oh well.

At least they're not posing as regular gamers to 'covertly' spam Hudson products on message boards. And judging from the Hudson officials, even if they tried it they wouldn't get very far.

That's what I was thinking :D . Is it possible that John Griener used to look like Master Higgins too?

LOL.  He definitely looks more like Bonk than Higgins.  I don't see any resemblance between him and the Higgins character.  Maybe I should boycott Hudson?

If you look at older pictures of him he resembles Higgins more. I can still see the resemblence today, mainly with his underbite lip.

Hudson Entertainment's website is awful as they do not like Canadian slang.

What kind of hoser does not like Canadian slang, eh?
