Chase H.Q.
« on: March 08, 2007, 11:28:27 AM »
This game is awesome, it's one of Taito's best, and Taito has made alot of great stuff. We had the Game Boy version when I was younger, and I loved it. Not sure if it's still around the house though. The TG16 port is the most arcade perfect version I know of, but it's a little bit harder, even the arcade version wasn't that hard!

Dragon's Lair appreciation. Again.

Yeah, Chase HQ is awesome.  Nothing but nonstop action.  Check out SCI on the PCE if you get the chance.  It's challenging but still gives you some space to breathe, unlike Chase HQ.  Plus you can shoot.

nope, that is the saturn "Taito Chase H.Q. Special: Police S.C.I. Special Criminal Investigation" compilation, which is almost 1:1 arcade perfect. try to catch one, if you like the series that much. it's worse every penny

After playing Bari Bari Densetsu I was hoping chase h.q. would have ran at at similar kind of smoothness and same with SCI too but I guess that wasn't the case..

PC engine version isnt bad but certainly not quite arcade perfect

It's a Japan-only release, so the voices are probably all in japanese like the japanese arcade version.
