Meet Kitsunexus, the eBay Nazi.

So, what did you ever determine about our friend selling the "PC ENGINE CONTROLLER !RARE!" aka Gravis GamePad?

They actually can and WILL do something about it. And since I'm a bigger douche than he is, I'm gonna get this shit pulled. Stand back.  8)

Good luck with that.  Unfortunately, this isn't the first time some clown has auctioned rom and/or iso collections, and Ebay wouldn't immediately pull the listings.  Eventually banning the scum is useless, as they will just create a new account.

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to report items that you suspect breach
eBay policies.

We'd like to let you know that we've received your email and we'll
thoroughly investigate this matter. It's our top priority to ensure eBay
remains a safe and reputable place to shop, so we take reports of
members who break our rules very seriously.

As it's important that eBay maintains member privacy, we won't be able
to share details of any action we take on the other member's account.
This eBay principle protects the privacy of all our members.

If you believe that a listing on eBay breaches the intellectual property
rights of a third party ("rights owner"), you can contact the relevant
rights owner and inform them of the listing. Rights owners can request
the removal of listings that infringe their intellectual property rights
through eBay's Verified Rights Owner (VeRO) Programme.

A lot of our verified rights owners have About Me pages that contain
their contact details. Please copy this link into a new browser window
to have a look:

It seems to be U.K. sellers who are getting away with it, so it may be okay under eBay.co.uk's rules if its kinda legal over there.

I doubt it's legal under EU copyright law.

ebay.co.uk is stupid, stuff like this gets away easy but I tried selling a JAP/US switchable Gamecube and that got pulled down in a couple of hours. Its nice that they took the money I spent listing it too.

We've had an interesting, night-automated collaboration going every now and then - my brother's been seeking out these DVDs and I've been reporting them.

I don't know if it's had much effect, but perhaps somebody sleeps better at night...

The rules here in the UK should be the same on these issues. The UK Ebay staff are probably just half-wits.
