I DID IT!!!!!
YAY ME! I found an adaptor that is 11V DC 1.6Amps! I ordered it and all I gots to do is cut the connector off, buy the right conector at my favorite local electonic parts shop, and solder it on making sure to get polarity correct.
I just did a search on 11v DC on google... found a catalog for a phone order service with a
huge listing of power supplies along with model numbers on and found something that uses such a power supply that is currently available.... I did a search on google for the model number and found it cheaper somewhere else.
Anyway, the one I bought has a model number of AD-27 and is made by a company called Sunpak....
bought it through amazon stores for $38.79.... cheapest price I found on it(that is untill, after I ordered, if I thought to use froogle for sunpak AD-27 I could a paid a bit less)... it may seem a little high, but it's worth it to get something that will not kill the system or itself.
And yes... Rockin' Kats is fun.
