f*ck the recording artists that sign with RIAA studios.  There's plenty of other ways to disseminate their music without turning complete control over to these numb shits.  Fine by me if anybody wants to steal music (or movies, games, etc.); just don't come crying when you get caught.  $7.87 per song is pretty steep, but I'd like to see the university go after the students for ethics violations.  Cheating, plagiarism, and intellectual property theft are far to prevalent, and these are the people that will run the next Enron.

I download some music, but the best way to get legal music is to buy used CDs. That's what I do, you get an official legal copy of your music that you can rip, and it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.

Plus, you don't have to settle for whatever bitrate the ripper chose, yo ucan rip however to whatever you want!

I, personally, never had anything against spoiled college brat sluts.  I actually remember most of them quite fondly.

On a side note, I acquire my music free from the library.  I check out a couple of CD's a week and rip 'em at home.  Isn't taxpayer money great!
