I am not just a beer lover, I am a motherf*ckin' walking keg.

Some favorites: Mac 'n Jacks, Black Butte, basically any dark beer. And Corona. Red Hook is good too. The Red Hook brewery is 20 minutes from my house. I have a friend who works there... Anytime anyone has a party, he shows up with the Red Hook keg.

What I will agree to drink if I have to: anything else. Even Keystone.

What I will refuse to drink: nothing. Except 'bitch drinks' (Mike's, Smirnoff, etc). That crap is syrupy and gives me heartburn after, like, 0.7564 bottles.

When I was a teenager and in high school I drank a lot of Steel Reserve 211 because it was the biggest bang for my broke-ass buck.

With a mention of snooty beers, here's one I'd love to try - Westvleteren 12.  Supposedly one of best tasting stuff out there, but since it's only made in some monastery in Belgium and they don't commercially distribute it (they only sell to visitors who go there), prices are ridiculous if you want it through something like ebay -- upwards of $100+ for a 6-pack after shipping.  And who knows how much more you gotta pay if customs gets a hold of it.

It's good for making shots.  My favorite use for everclear is a sour shot (or whatever it's called) made with everclear, grapefruit juice, and..... lemon juice, or sour mix, or something else I can't remember.  Another tasty drink I enjoy is a 'Hairy Armpit' made with grapefruit juice and ouzo.  An odd mix to be sure, but quite delicious.

I only drink beer when it is free.  This happened a lot at one of my old jobs where the boss would bring in beers for everyone while we worked.  During that time is probably the most I have ever drunk in my life.  Otherwise I don't feel that beer is worth paying for, or any alcoholic beverage for that matter.  The benefits do not outweigh the $$$ I part with.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I'm not a big fan of beer, but that's because it makes me bloated. I like the taste of beer, though (yes, this is quite frustrating at times).

I prefer stiff drinks -- they're much more invigorating and less bloat. Plus, it's fun to pretend I'm manly when the stench of whiskey is in my pores.
