Tron, you & I think alike!  He is the very first thing that came to my mind!  Speaking of which, the new console TF's game, will have Shockwave unlockable(among others like G1 Prime & Megs), & apparently looks very close to his G1 counterpart, but is a triple changer that was originally designed to be the in the upcoming movie!  Apparently he turns into a cannon, & a helicopter, from what I've heard of the few who've had a chance to play the game(I know this, cuz a guy I know, if voicing Starscream for all the games, & he just recently got to check them all out).  It sounds like everyone that's tried out the various TF Movie games, are saying it's surprisingly really REALLY well done, though, what they played were all unfinished.

Won't even run in my browser.  Wasn't Shockwave abandoned years and years ago?  It seems ancient.

Sure, he's millions of years old, & Megatron pretty much left him to run Cybertron while they are after the Autobots, but, I'm sure Shockwave hasn't been abandoned!
