You spoiled bitches!!

I still use master tapes and Jog/Shuttle wheels!!!  I have to plug the titler in between my decks but BEFORE the mixer.  I'm old school.

When I was in college, I used 16mm B/W and color film on an old Steinbeck. If I wanted sound, I have to add reels of magnetic tape. That, my friends, is old skool. :) And yes, for rough cuts, I used a splicer and tape!

At home, my wife and I still have 8mm splicers, viewers, projectors, etc.

The cost of purchasing / developing film is insane, though. :)

oh yes..comparing then and now, the digital age gives you such great possibilties, that even some jerks easy can make light saber battles on their PCs/MACs, which are looking far way better than the originals back in time, which never could be payed by ordinary mortals then:

Goldwave, it will nag you after like a couple of minutes, but you just restart and pick up where you left off.

Then you must have top-loading VCRs, too.

My Curtis Mathis from circa 1980.  I also have an S-VHS player and an SGI machine.

That's how I muthaf*ckin' roll...
