Please post this in the correct forum.  Dracula X is NOT on the PC-FX, but on the PC Engine.  Moved topic. Aaron Nanto

Hey boog, sounds like he's having a prob with a CD-R version. [booo!] So, I doubt you could help. How much did you pay for your copy?

I've been noticing that there is someone selling a bunch of bootleg copies on Ebay lately.  Irks me to no end.  I can't stand when people sell pirated software for profit.

Anyway...  If music is off by about 20 seconds, it's likely that someone improperly burnt a disk from a game binary and MP3 files with a BIN/CUE sheet.

This thread is pretty old, so it's not likely we'll see any responses from the original posters.  :)

I've reported stuff like that to ebay in the past.  Sometimes they actually did something before the auction ended.  The slick folks make the disclaimer that they are selling the "service" of burning a CD-R, as opposed to selling the actual ROM.  Crazy.

I've reported them as well.  Ebay often doesn't do anything about it.  It's a shame.

Here's a seller that is selling several "copies" of the same game:

Yeah.  The Magic Engine thing is what *really* pissed me off, in spite of the fact that I didn't mention it.

ok...
i sent report to ebay on this seller with below comment.

"...since this seller has been selling counterfeit videogame for some time now I expect ebay won't stop me from selling bootleg copies myself. if the seller is still selling the counterfeit by end of this week i'm going to list about several dozen listings of counterfeit videogames myself next week. i expect ebay will NOT remove my posting then to be fair to every one..."

let's see what happens...

Yikes.  Don't let them try to make an example out of you.

Honestly, they probably won't even respond to it though.  :)

Off the topic of fakes....I orderd a minty-fresh Dracula X this week. So excited! All I lack now is Kaze Kiri and I'll be a happy man...I have plenty to play at the moment, though....bouncing back and forth between Fray and Exile....now THIS? Literally drooling with anticipation. Also...Fray? Pretty damn good.
