I like this topic, but I suck at solving 'em.  I even have a few lined up for whenever I finally figure one out (or someone takes pity on a retard and relinquishes their turn).

Two more guesses:

Hani on the Road - they're both rounded off turds

I'm sure that they're both wrong, since I don't think that either of them are licensed characters.  Unfortunately, the only licensed games that I can think of don't make any sense.

Agreed.  None of the licensed HuCard titles that come to mind of make any sense.  Doraemon, Darkwing Duck, Talespin, Batman, Knight Rider, Die Hard, Alice in Wonderdream..... shit, what else was licensed?

OK, the answer is Dodge Danpei.  First person to explain why from the pic gets to go next.

Well, we can all probably figure out the Dodge reference.  As for Danpei... hmmmm.  Dan Pie?  A pie made out of Dan?  Doesn't make sense.

Unless you were going for "damp" with "danp".  I don't get the Canadian reference.

EDIT:  Why would the Japanese license Dodge?  That's insane!

Apparently its a sports/dodgeball game based off of some anime. The official name is Honoo No Toukyuuji Dodge Danpei. The game was published and distributed by Hudson in 1992.

Danpei translates to Dampier, right?  PCECP has the name as Honou No Toukyuu-ji Dozzi Danpei, so I wasn't going to find the Dodge reference there (nor have I heard of the anime).
