Well afther some thought i'm gonna skip the otakon.I'm not in the mood to fight the crowds and to pay the $60.00 to get in  :P

Instead i'm gonna try this convention since it's video game related.

Looks interesting. I've never been to a game convention. I'll read more about it. I'm located in MD, so it's not too far of a drive.

$2.00 admission isn't bad, basically it's free.

Not many events going on, at least accoring to their site. Their forums are also bare.

I recognize the vendor "Mad-Gear", I've purchased from them before.

Tron, ever been to this convention? What type of game stuff is going on?

Yeah, seriously, why are all the conventions out of state?  Aren't there any here?

Even better, they'll give you a $3.00 coupon redeemable with purchase at any of the vendors.  Nothing like getting paid a buck to go to a convention, but PA is a little too far away for me.

You can say the same about Virginia too. But wait, we got Magfest, but that's more like a BYOG type thing.

Speaking of Mad Gear, what the hell happened to his ebay store? I was searching Super Famicom games and didn't see him on the stores list

Most of what i can tell it's sell and trade for video games i think and, they have a thing for ppl that are into card games as well.

Also they do have tourments as well for old and new video games.

I'm in MD also still it's not that far up in PA so i thought i give it a try.

I saw the thread for it over at neo-geo.com and it caught my intertest, since i wanted to try something diffierent for a change.

Yeah I met 16 bit at Magfest 4. Sadly I couldn't talk to him much because during the con, I had terrible bronchitis that impaired my speech.
