The Best video game Ever Thread!

A tough call. I've played way too many great games...................Final Fantasy VI (SNES) gets my vote.

But I gotta through out some geek love for Ys I&II, Ys IV (PCE Version of course) and Dragon Quest III

Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past SNES. I don't think I have ever played a long game so many times over than this title. My close second would be Final Fantasy 3 US (6 JP). Yes, I grew up hardcore Nintendo.

Starcraft is still great after all these years. A lot of my friends still play and we always pressure any new guy to take up the addiction also.  A little while ago i grabbed up alot of  old PC stuff and set up a LAn in my attic, and a few guys have laptops to join in also. Watching my tanks pound that jelly outta those  poor Dragoons never gets old.  Haha....good times

I highly prefer the name "Ghouls 'N Ghosts" to Diakamara or whatever the hell it is.

I highly prefer the name "Ghosts 'N Goblins" to "Ghouls 'N Ghosts" and am glad that Ultimate GnG uses the original name.

I like "Ghouls" better than "Goblins" simply because goblins sounds like much more of a kid's word.  Ghouls sounds grown up and kick ass.  Plus I think I like the word "Ghouls" better since it represents a FAR better game than "Goblins", Jesus Christ!

ghosts is so great that it appears in both titles  I like both games anyways, haha.

"Ghosts" is great because it means that something scary is in the game.  Both games sure scared me!  I am scared of ghosts, but they sure are great!

ghouls'n'ghosts'n'goblins'n'granmas what ever is for little lassies, and should be ignored by any who love this serie.

Thats probably the main reason why I like 'Goblins' better, -its a FAR better game than 'Ghouls' to me.

'Ghouls' invokes images of creeps like Herbert from Family Guy for me.

I still like Makaimura better than any of the various titles.
