Curious. Why does this thread have a "thumbs down" icon next to it in the forum menu? 
Because I think the button timing in Fighting Street sucks. It shouldn't delay the way that it does.... but they were trying to do the impossible when they ported the game.
I believe it's possible to master the timing in Fighting Street but in the 6/7 years I've owned it, I've never done it. (maybe because my copy doesn't work very well
)
Just as an example, if you hold down either button, you'll eventually do a fierce punch / roundhouse kick. This isn't the way the 2 button or 6 button setup works on an arcade machine. However, the timing does seem consistent which is why I believe it can be mastered....
But it's far from arcade perfect, hence the thumbs down.
