actually been a member for a while but have never got round to writing anything so i thought i,d better introduce myself.i live in the uk and am the proud owner of a duo r and an orginal pc engine plus i,d say 20 or so games.got into the joys of pc engine ownership about a year ago when i purchased my original pc engine with 3 games (chase hq,legendry axe 2 and r type 2) off ebay.not long after i was checking through ebay and saw the duo r for a very reasonable price and i could'nt resist it.this is a very clean system and in good order.this too came with 3 games:side arms special, hatris and heavy unit.anyway thats it i think and i hope to contribute more to the forums soon.

Here's a belated welcome aboard.  I have a soft spot in my heart for Hatris, even though most think that it's rubbish.

 Welcome to the best forum ever!

I heard Side Arms Special on CD has extra weapons and an extra level. Is that true?

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Its actually two games in one. The first is basically the HuCard with CD music and more sampled sfx.

The second game, titled "Before Christ", is a remix of Side Arms featuring redrawn art and altered gameplay.
