Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I played Psychosis last night for a pleasant trip down memory lane.

It took me a number of years before I could get to the end. After playing the likes of Sinistron, it didn't seem so hard anymore.

I may get some flack for this but the "save state" feature in any emulator is a beautiful thing for those impossible shoot 'em up moments...

Thanks for all the replies. I have ordered Asuka 120%, Advanced VG, Galaga '88 & 3X3 eyes so far from your reccomendations and stuff from the "useless thoughts thread". Will also try for the Psychosis when I can track a cheap-ish copy down. On my first full day of quiting smoking so the Duo is gonna get so play as stress relief I reckon.
Anyhow thanks again all, nice to be made welcome :)
Best regards,
Chris

Do you have an Arcade Card yet?  You'll want it so that you can witness the true glory of the 3x3 Eyes cinemas.

Asuka and Galaga are great fun.  You'll forget all about those Marlboro Lights in no time.

Hi guys, have tracked down an arcade duo card & world heroes 2 ordered. Got 3x3 eyes & Advanced VG in the post today, still waiting on Asuka and Galaga. 3x3 is really cool, I'm having fun working out what's going on, can't say much for Advanced VG though, not up to much in my opinion.
Anyhow really enjoying the duo, I'm really fond of Ordyne , not sure why you guy's rag on this game, I'm finding it fun :)
The non smoking is going well too, lots of the worst affects of stopping are wearing off now.
Anyhow,
All the best,
Chris

..and I am persistent in using the save state feature to revisit my favorite Turbo Games   :D

but really - There's no denying it's more fun to play them the way they were meant to be played. I just discovered all these roms and this site so i've been reluctant to settle into one game until recently - too busy moving on to the next old favorite (or new discovery)

Welcome aboard man!

As for recommended games, just go to YouTube and search "PC Engine". You be the judge.
