You can almost feel Johnny Turbo straining to pop out and say something during that comic.

Does anyone know of websites with scans of other humorous (intentional and unintentional) video game related comics/ads?

For in-manual comics, try http://www.replacementdocs.com. For out-of-manual comics, I have no clue, but they're out there somewhere.

And of course, Benj Edwards posts great retro-gaming scans every week at his site, many of which are of the unintentional humor category.

Of course. Redwolf is the pwnage. I'm on that site on the comments as KitsuneDarkStalker/Kitsunexus, and on the boards as Fang_The_Sniper.

"A long, long time ago, later than you think and sooner than you know, there was a strange and terrible kingdom..."

Yowza, those comics stink worse than a skunk after eating Indian food.

Interesting.... I'm still curious about "Spirit Hero Wataru", the anime that KC is based on. ADV Films oughta get the rights to it and dub it into english.

Dragon's Lair appreciation. Again.

what I don't get is those dudes at the end of the comic saying that they're going to help keith out, and then they charge him rip of prices for all kinds of things. They even follow along his quest, without fighting any bad guys, selling even higher priced goods.

Hahaha, great point!

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Yeah, the cost of the final sword is really quite ludicrous.
