What is it exactly?

It's a NES emulator that plays in ASCII. Think NES with IBM textmode graphics, and you'll be on the right track.

Ooooh! Sounds interesting!

Edit:I can't get it working. How do I run it?

You guys have a Panera out there in Buttf*ck? I'm surprised. I thought only us city-folk were treated to such luxuries.

You need an actual DOS-capable computer. I dunno if DOSBox will suffice or not. There's no sound at all.

I have DOSBox, and I tried it on there and don't know how to run it.

To tell you the truth man, I have no f*cking clue. I last ran it about 2 years ago, on my old K6-2. I'll have to go find my mouse for it tomorrow and tell you, but right now it's "four o'clock in the mornin' and it's staaaarting to get light", so I'm off to bed. L8rz.

Try VDM Sound, it works great on tons of old DOS games & programs, I use it to play all the Ultimas and AD&D games.  DOSBox is awesome too, but you really need to download one of the front ends for it or else it's a pain in the ass to use the command line.
