A Turbo Halloween Poll
« on: November 01, 2007, 10:23:22 AM »
So, my friend Mr Fulci and I went trick or treating yesterday.  Fulci dressed up as Leon from Silent Debuggers, and I was the Night Creatures guy.

After we made the rounds, I kicked his ass and took all his Kit Kats.  He was left with the Sour Patch Kids.

Who came away with the better treats?  Fulci with Sour Patch, or Ruder with Kit Kats?

Neither, only cold hard cash is a worthy prize. You wanna know what I did for the night BEFORE Halloween?

I went the a theater in Little Rock that showed Halloween 4 and 5 as a double feature. Me and a friend, and only 3 others showed up. It was a one time only one showing only event across the USA. I'm so glad no one knew about it. It made it feel like a private viewing, really nice stuff.

On Halloween I took my kids trick or treating to  a couple of different places,so they got their candy, enough to last a week or 2 at least.

f*ck man, I saw a preview for that event at my theatre a couple weeks ago when I saw "30 Days of Night". I had made a point to try and go see it, but I f*cking forgot. That in itself wouldn't have been bad, but then you had to go and remind me about it.

Oh, BTW, I voted Kit Kats. But that's because I love chocolate candy bars and despise most all "hard candy" (i.e. - anything that isn't a chocolate candy bar).

BTW, is Mr. Fulci really a local friend of yours? I had no idea.

An instant message about leftover halloween candy led to Runin saying "I'm goign to post _________ on PCEFX".

I  reply "No thanks".

To Runin, that is pretty much the same as saying, "Runin, Please post that silly story!"
"Damnit, Beavis, put that away. You're not supposed to have your _____ out when you're cooking".

On a side note, that is so awesome runin was "that Night Creatures guy." I'm sure a total of -5 people knew what he was supposed to be.

Did anyone dressed up as a vampire approach you and proclaim that "Hecate has taken you?"

I haven't had anyone come here in a number of years. I live in an apartment complex, so you would think I would get tons.

Its been like that since 9/11,really sad too. Most parents wont let their kids trick or treat now in neighborhoods, they only do it at large gatherings like malls, which makes no sense. If it started with fear of mass terrorism, then you would think they would want to avoid large gatherings at malls,ect..

Kit Kats. To hell with sour candies.

On a sidenote, Midnight Milkyway is the best candy.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Too bad there's no emoticon for high-five.

Snickers and Three Musketeers aren't bad either.....Mmmmm....Snickers....
