Just got this game from my girl for our anniversary a few weeks ago.  Expensive goddang disc.  However- in agreement with original poster- I too found the controls different than the hucard original.  Of course after leveling up it all smoothed out and then some.  I'm at the final stage - the big pyramid- been there for a week because I want it to last.  I'm a first time poster by the way.  Been a huge turbofan from back in the day when the system first hit US- it was the LAST system I've owned- I grew bitter when it went under.  I recently restarted my collection and now have 152 games- a CD system, converter and arcade card, turboexpress and all that ish.  Would LOVE if someone could tell me how the hell I could my hands on a reverse turbo tap.  I'd love to make use of the arcade card by being able to play the six-button Neo-geo conversions.  I'm in New York if anyone gives a hoot.

Welcome aboard, Sinistron.  152 games in a 'recently restarted collection' = holy shit and not wasting any time (or money). 

The easiest way to make a reverse tap is to swap the cable out to the correct connector.

Thank you- I seem to have just found the appropriate board for that discussion- sorry for cutting into the Dungeon Explorer II Inebriation chapter. 

Anyway I guess I'll just buy a pair of avenue sixes and take a chance- though I'm not much of a fix-it man or a hardware head or anything.  I'll probably goof the whole thing up.  I remember months back I was trying to figure out how to burn downloaded pc-engine roms and just gave up.  I stick to the original chips and discs- which as you say attacks my money.  I restarted my collection late last year- pretty much from scratch.  Dug my old turbo out of my parents basement and won a CD-player on Ebay for a decent price.  Had one back in the day and foolishly sold it for a crate of porn.  In the feverdream of those magical youthful jagoff days perhaps a thousand or two wackoffs were worth it- but no longer.  Never had the super cd upgrade back then though- never got to play Dungeon Explorer II or Dracula X until now.  I've come a long way from the back-then amazement of JB Harold to recently playing Konami's much-hyped and justifiably so masterpiece.
