TurboGrafx-16 commercial
« on: November 07, 2007, 01:49:53 PM »

I just found one that I haven't seen online before:

it starts at 4:18

shows Keith Courage and is very similar to the other TG16 television ads.

Wow, good find! I haven't seen that one before, that's really cool! This isn't the commercial that you've been trying to find though, right?

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I'm didn't know Keith Courage abused pets.  That sadistic MFer!  Nice find, these old commercials really take me back.  I haven't seen that one either though.

Haha yeah I remember that. My favorite part in Keith Courage is when you're playing as Keith and the game FORCES you to walk across hot lava and get hurt. How hardcore is THAT?

For the first year or so after I got the TG-16 (it came with KC, obviously) I thought there had to be some kind of secret way to get across that stuff without being injured. I thought if I jumped in between the eddies of lava I'd escape unscathed. I spent hours trying to time my jumps just right.

you're right, it was not the commercial I've been trying to find (that was a Legendary Axe commercial),  I found the one I posted while searching for 1989 videogame commercials.    the search continues .....

That is really old school.

Its hard to believe that they can make Keith Courage seem so intense.
