Wrong - J. B. Harold Murder Club has digitized photos, not video.  The three fmv games are It Came From the Desert, Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective, and Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective Vol. 2.  I suppose that we could change it to 3.5 games to include John Madden Duo CD Football, though the videos weren't essential parts of game play.

Yeah, but none of them are "FMV" games like Dragon's Layer, Space Ace, etc, or even Sewer Shark.

Gulliver Boy had FMV's in it too- pretty impressive ones at that.

I also loved the FMV ending in John Madden Duo!!

Someone should put that on Youtube!....

Its true, you could play It Came From the desert and Shermatlocks just as well with only the audio from the clips.

Wasn't the extra processor in the sega CD put in for fmv games like Dragon's layer, space ace and games with fmv backgrounds like slipheed and Bram stokers Dracula?

No, the extra CPU was to make the games more intense.  Sega of America discovered that you can use it to stream digital video (remember, "digital" means "perfect" and that's why digital is ALWAYS better than analog).  Then Digital Pictures went apeshit and thought they had finally found their true calling.

Those damn ebay sellers must have stole the more intense parts of my sega cd games before they shipped them to me.

So, its sega of America genius we can thank for all the amazing fmv games.

I haven't opened my copy yet.

As soon as I finish a few others games I'm working on, I'll open 'er up and find out.
