Does Mario have real shadows that deform over the level architecture? Does EVERYTHING, and I mean EVERYTHING in Galaxy have a shadow? Does Mario have multiple light sources at once that all effect shadows in real time? If I missed all this, then I retract my statement about Galaxy's lighting, all I noticed about the game was the really nice textures and smooth framerate. Nothing about the amount of draw distance, level architecture, or lighting really stood out to me as anything amazing that a Gamecube couldn't do on it's best day, just the textures were obviously beyond the GC's abilities in my opinion.
Again I'm talking purely about graphics on a technical level, we're not talking about what merely looks nice, keranu. Klonoa on Psone looks really "nice" but I'm not going to argue it looks as good as the best PS2 games.
