I'm pretty sure the V-boy has a 32bit risc processor

Edited to add info from a site about hacking and programming for the VB:
Processor: NEC V810 (Part# uPD70732)
32bit RISC 20mHz Clock speed / 18MIPS 1Kbyte instruction cache Vdd = 2.2 - 5.5V DC 1Mbyte DRAM 512Kbyte P-SRAM
Display: RTI (Reflection Technology Inc) SLA (P4)
384x224 resolution (4 color with 32 levels of Intensity)50.2Hz h-scan
Sound: 16bit Stereo (with built in stereo speakers)

And the thread title was a bit misleading, Rolins.  I thought you were putting up a thread for Internet dating.

That's what I was thinking, Missa, except for the four color thing.  I don't know what they mean, 'cause the LED's have two settings: red and off.

actually, the LEDs have 3 shades of red (bright, not so bright, dim) and off.

I also find it interesting that the FX and the VB have the same processor. I wonder if a VB emulator could be made for the FX...

I don't want to sidetrack the thread any more, but personally I only play V-boy games on the console itself.  I don't know how any emulator could give you the sense of 3-d, which is the only reason I ever play it.  I did find it interesting though that the V-boy has a NEC processor.  Be glad NEC didn't make the system itself and decided to call it the Virtual Grafx or something.  I do with the V-boy had more vector games like the unfinished f-zero game.  I love red alarm a lot!  The Wario platformer is really interesting, I recently saw a Mario game on the Wii or a DS (I forget which) in a store and the way the game was designed, it totally reminded me of Warioland.  The boxing game is hard as hell, but very fun still too.  Too bad V-Tetris sucks :(  How is a 2-d tube 3-d?
