How rare is Bonk 3 CD?

I have the pc engine version already, but what is a fair price for a copy of Bonk 3 CD (complete)? An ebay guy has it for $250. Mighty steep eh?

I've seen it go at auction for $230. There are a lot of crazy bidders out there. If you catch an auction, it all depends on what kind of rich nut you're up against. Considering that; the $250 doesn't seem too bad. but that is a lot of cash for one game. Most in this forum prefer the hucard over the cd.

yeah, the redbook versions of the songs just aren't "Bonk".

I personally wouldn't pay $250 for a copy of Bonk 3 CD.

Generally speaking, the CD version goes for a bit less money than the HuCard version.  Considering that the last few HuCards on ebay went in the $90 - $130 range, I'm inclined to think that $250 for a CD version is way, whey, weigh over priced.

Speaking of Bonk III- and I haven't read much about this- but I'm guessing that the reason that Bonk doesn't become effeminate in the American version after eating the powerup is because they figured- probably correctly- that Americans are more homophobic than the Japanese?  And does Bonk only become effeminate in the third JP Bonk or does it happen in the JP versions of the first two as well?

I think it happens in the Japanese Bonk 2 as well. Not sure about the first... Although I should be, since I own it.

I know that Bonk femmes out in part deux, but I don't think he does in the first one.  I'm not sure if they removed it for the US because we're too homophobic or because it's dumb and senseless.

In PC Genjin 1, he becomes Chinese Genjin, or, something like that, so, no changes there.  However, something that's interesting, when you get hit from directly below, where you jump up after taking damage, you can see Bonk's doodle inbetween his legs in both versions........either that, or he has a tail!  Also, when he's going up a waterfall, it looks like you can see his bunghole or something, it's really wierd.  And none of this was cut out of the US version.  Don't believe me?  Try it out for your self!  In the 3rd game, they made him become Chinese Bonk again, which they call Star Bonk, since they have him shoot stars.  Wierd.

I'm hoping someday Tomaitheous/Bonknuts will have a working Game Boy emulator for the TG so we can port over the 2 regular Bonk GB games, & give them a facelift, not to mention a soundlift!

Is there any site that has the CD soundtrack on it? I quite loved the track played on the lone youtube video of Bonk 3 CD.
