For me it doesn't get any better than the original version of "Pacific' by 808 State.

I can only think of chill out albums since I'm not manic-depressive enough to get chilled and be done with it in 3 minutes.

Best chill out albums: Chill Out-The KLF (obviously), Disintegration-The Cure, Lifeforms-The Future Sound of London, Space.

Also, this free CD I got with a magazine once. I think its called The Blue Room. Radio 1 & Muzik, Mixed By Chris Coco & Rob Da Bank.

808 State "Pacific" is an awesome tune. Man I used to love 808 State. I still do I guess. 

My chill out song, at least one of them, is "La Femme d'Argent" by Air. I just found out recently while watching "Uncle Buck" with John Candy that the drum track for that song was directly taken off the soundtrack for that movie. Who knew?   

Anyway, we need to have a party/convention. There wouldn't be any problem in the tunes department that's for sure.

I was just uploading some songs onto my mobile phone and came across Husky Rescue. It's a band from Sweden. Their new album is quite good, but this song is really great and is definitely appropriate for this "chill" thread.
