Back in the game
« on: December 21, 2007, 04:01:48 PM »
I've been looking to get back into PCE gaming ever since I got out and I finally broke down and bought a core grafx and super CD-Rom setup.  I think this was a steal for what's included, but I could be wrong-

Shit, that's a great deal. Too bad he doesn't list what games those are.

Welcome to the forum, BTW. Glad I could help make that a reality.

That's just not right Kitsunexus...  If that wasn't edited (which I assume it was) it would be officially a f*cked up thing.

I don't think it's edited. And besides, if it isn't, they didn't kill the cat, they just put the sign there. Whatever the case may be, I LOL'd.

After a moment of shock I laughed too, that's how I know it's f*cked up.

Damn... Even if the games are filler that's a spectacular deal just for the hardware. I have got to get myself a SuperCD Rom unit somewhere.

Not to be alarmist on this, but that very same exact auction/picture ended on Yahoo JP a couple of days ago.  And if I remember correctly sold for more.  There were also more pictures there for that auction showing the games.  If I hadn't cleared my auction list I could put the auction up here (no way I can find to search completed auctions on Yahoo JP).

What's more is that seller's other "bulk" listing right now was also exactly used in a Yahoo JP listing just this past week.  In that auction there's a Bonk 3 and Star Parodia and an Arcade Card Pro and I know I bid on it around that $95 range they're currently selling it for.  In other words, I don't remember what it ended at, but I know they're not making any money on either auction.

I hope this story ends well for you, but please be cautious with this one.

watch this guys other auctions, there is a game bundle which also contains an arcade card pro, but can't spot out a bonk 3 cd.

he also got only 4 feedback which are positive, but he loaded up a big bunch of games recently, which means he is very very new to ebay.

so somebody knows one of the recent buyers in personal?
