If you like Lalo Schifrin's music, have you ever seen Bullitt? If not, I recommend it. It's also a cop movie.

Haven't seen Bullitt since I was a wee lad.  Wasn't that Steve McQueen?  70's action movie music is the shit for sure.
The Dirty Harry music is great- it's what always made the movie so classic to me- besides the performance of the guy playing Scorpio.  But the music- when Scorpio is picking his victims on the rooftop- killer.

Yes Bullitt was Steve McQueen... it came out in 1968. Another great Lalo Shifrin movie was Enter the Dragon starring Bruce Lee.
