Eh- I know that Cratermaze is closer to the original- Booby Kids or whatnot- I just find Doraemon much sweeter and the Arabian Nights game is one of my favorite hucards. Actually just got my Doraemon last night and I could swear that there is differences in the music in Doraemon and Cratermaze- I'll have to compare both tonight.
Had Sinistron when I first had a turbografx- however I need it again- but from what I've just read looks like Violent Soldier will be the way to go. I remember being owned by Sinistron constantly. Again- if anyone's wondering why my member name here is Sinistron and I don't currently possess the cart and got my ass kicked by it in the past- the first five letters of my last name are in the title.
Actually received five games last night- Loom (love it), Spin Pair (is what it is), Doraemon, Kattobi! (pcecp said I didn't need to know Japanese- trying to play it it seems very much like I do- which sucks because it seems like something I'd enjoy), and Champions Forever (had this back in the day- just traded my extra Motoroader with MurderDate for this- for the collection). Still waiting on my Sapphire.
Magical Chase- that's so f*cking rough. I know that if I shelled out 150 for the japanese I'd just wish that I went all the way and purchased the American which looks to me so much better. But 400-500 for a hucard- ack. I'd say hopefully the price will drop when it becomes available for virtual console but I don't think we've seen any turbo games prices drop from that and who knows if we will. Perhaps virtual console inclusion will just make the originals more popular. I'll have to chalk up Magical Chase as the one hucard I want that I'll probably never have.
Now if only someone can tell me why the number one on my hucard wish list- the american Hero Tonma is listed as a rarity level 4 and goes for such insane prices on EBay? Any differences with the Japanese version?
