Hey, I'll gladly take that stuff.

A friend just gave me old Colecovision and Atari VCS catalogs from '78... it was a blast to read them.

I never owned Microsurgeon, though I've wanted to read a book that some dude wrote about it (he was a kid, his mom was dying, he played microsurgeon and fantasized that he could help save his mom, etc.).

I would love to hear more about this book!

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

I read about this book, hmmm, maybe in 1999 or 2000? I'll find out the details. It was a "how a video game helped me cope with serious crap in life" sort of premise. Keep in mind that the author was a young boy when his mom was dying.

Haha. Never!! I hear that NATO has a top secret Galaxian project - teh Space Invaders project was a failure. Unfortunately, as it is a Galaxian project the ship can only fire one shot at a time and cannot dock with two or even three ships. So bone up on your Galaxian skill set and you'll be fine.

What ever happened to the Galaxian flag ships in Galaga 88/90 anyway? They made their appearance on the regular Galaga (I've proudly made it to stage 36, but so much farther to go.  ](*,)), but seem to have been decommissioned for the late 80s and early 90s.
