"PLAY! A Video Game Symphony" now on tour
« on: January 15, 2008, 04:12:53 AM »
Had to let people know about this as each morning when I drive to work I hear the ad on the radio (they are coming to Seattle on the 24th and 26th)....and it is so cool because they start off the ad playing Sonic the Hedgehog.

"Performed by full orchestra and choir, PLAY! A Video Game Symphony features award-winning music from a catalogue of blockbuster video game titles. Outstanding graphics on large screens above the orchestra accompany the scores, highlighting memorable moments from the video games."

Sounds cool and is likely the only type of symphony that I would pay to attend.  Needs more cow bell!

I attended "Video Games Live" http://www.videogameslive.com a few years back and it was good...same concept.  They are coming back to Seattle in 2009.

I doubt it.  My wife and I just bought a new Harbour Home (http://www.harbourhomes.com/Aspenwoods/Somerset2042) down near Renton and really need to save for it right now.

Isn't Tommy Tallarico part of that PLAY thing?  If so, avoid it at all costs.

New home! Sweet deal man. Me and my woman need to make a move on that sometime soon. Apartment living is a waste of money.

It's funny though, I heard the commercial for this thing on 102.5 on the way HOME from work. The 24th is her birthday though so I doubt I'll go either.

Also, apartments have a tendency to catch on fire.

Nice house.

However, I prefer old houses.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).
