I love the shout box, but it can't take away from the forums. The beauty of this site is the fact that lame conversations about SGX ports vs. GEN ports can turn into even lamer conversations about Toungeman's latest "impossible for even Columbo" riddles.

He's right, TRON is always on that thing.

My take-- I think the forums will not be affected for the worse. In fact, I think the chat is a great idea that complements the boards nicely. Long-time members can now have friendly banter among each other without the need for creating superfluous threads (I'm not naming any names here) every 30 seconds that don't really have anything to do with anything. Newbies will still come post questions in the forums, and experienced users can answer. AirRaidX can still post his semiannual Ghouls 'n Ghosts threads, Mike will still keep us updated on the current Red Frog situation, runinruder will still be posting his reviews, TRON will keep on posting those YouTube links, Necromancer will continue to brutally assault and abuse new users, and Stevek666 and Black_Tiger will still remain MIA for the most part.

Things will be the same, but different. But in a good way.

And like SignOfZeta pointed out in chat yesterday, now we can flame the shitheads in chat without worry of repercussions.

That i am just a habbit of mine plus i've gotten to know the people there.

Since that was the frist forum i joined befor getting here to begin with.

It's nice that,Aaron added a chat here but i just think he could of pick a diffierent program for it.

Befor he did i was thinking of making a thread to suggest it.

Well it does keep it in one place instead having the right aim to use.

I remember..there was a thread about that and every body had there own to use.
