That's pretty lame, don't these people do any research beyond their own memories?  I mean f*ck, a quick wikipedia search would have told them the Playstation wasn't the first CD system.

This is completely ridiculous. By the time the Playstation came out, DVDs were already taking hold all around the first world. It was only a matter of time before it became standard fare in video games. If anything, the Playstation was the LAST console to use CDROM technology, not the first.

thought the same here and so true :lol: as the N64 may be was the last for trad. carts (excluding handhelds), but that's again an other story.
