Replaced the caps in one of my TE units today (just the four audio and the one video...very poorly, I might add) and blew through ten grand playing high-stakes poker on King of Casino.

Ditto. I find the TG/PCE version to be more dificult than other versions I've played over the years.

Played a little bit of Sherlock Holmes recently.  Haven't been able to really get into it.

On the PCE side, I put in a number of hours into Solid Force and Kisou Louga.   Both are interesting games, but lot of Japanese.

2 pionts on cadash
1 you have to beat the first level before you can replenish your HP/MP
2 once you beat the first level grind til you level up enough to go easily through the second level, going back to town to rest as needed.

Or if you're in a rush and don't feel like grinding it out just play the first level, reset the game, and call yourself TORU.

Finally beat Neutopia this morning!  Kind of a big moment for me as this is the first Turbo game I've ever beaten.  Now I can concentrate on Cosmic Fantasy 2 for a while.  ^__^v
