The last year for new releases in the US.  Did they save the best for last?

I pick Bomberman '93.

Did they save the best for last?

I don't know about that, but they certainly didn't save a bunch of crappy filler for the last hurrah.  Every one of those title is awesome, or at the very least solid.

Bomberman '93, it freaking rules gameplay wise, and has an AWESOME techno remix of the battle theme (which is better on SNES, sorry Turbo fans!).

Sheesh! And I thought the other polls were hard to decide on. This is killer.  :-k All those games are pretty nice and definitely worth owning, however, I haven't played most of them so I'll just be voting based on video clips and whatnot. It's really down to Bonk III, DE II, Magical Chase, and Bomberman '93. Bonk III gets kudos for introducing some much needed new features - i.e. the two player mode is a cool feature. DE II, from what I've heard, takes what could be considered the best HuCARD and makes it even better - expanded worlds, more detailed graphics, cinemas, more characters to choose from, etc... Bomberman '93 I've heard is the best of the series and from what I've seen I have to agree. It looks like a blast. Though I'm curious to know if it's fun to play if you're by yourself.  :-k As for Magical Chase, well it looks fantastic, not only compared to the PCE version, but just overall. It looks like a Super CDROM2 game.

To make my decision I'm going to pretend someone is offering me one of these games for free (ignoring collector value). I think I would have to take DE II. Dungeon Explorer is sweet, so DE II must be mind bogglingly good. In the end, you can't shake a stick at any of these titles.

Actually, I believe you could. They wouldn't jump up and bite you, you wouldn't get zapped by lightning, no angry mob is going to come to your door, you'd just look like an idiot waving a stick around, that's all.

It's fun to play by yourself, but '94's story mode is more varied and has better maps than '93's story mode.

I like your way of thinking.  8)

I chose magical chase! It was a tough choice though. I wanted to choose bonk3 for its platforming wonder, but the shooter fan in me prevailed dominant.

I got my Bonk 3 CD from TZD as well.  Hell, that was the ONLY place you could get them.  I rocked them $50.00 plus $20 shipping and handling (might have been significantly less, can't remember) and then I rocked to Bonk 3 CD.  I swear if you combined all of the times I have played that game, it would add up to less than an hour.  What a turd.  Big Bonk and Little Bonk annoy me.

Dungeon Explorer II, even though I'm a huge Bomberman '93 fan.

$20 s&h!!  jeeezus!!  I guess you won in the long run though huh.

I voted Bonk 3.  I love most of those games though.  Hero Tonma I don't know much about.
