The choice is clearly Gunbuster. It could even beat larger robots like Ideon and Super Mecha Godzilla.



It's Buster Collider has destroyed aliens the size of the moon. Its nuclear pile was used to collapse Jupitor/Lucifer into a black hole wiping out several billion giant space bug invaders at once. Nothing even comes close in the total destruction category.

However, my favorite robot is and always will be Mighty Atom/Astro boy. No contest.

Awesome trailer for Hardware MH.  :clap: I love the soundtrack too - P.I.L. and Ministry - Martyn Askins rules.

I went with Optimus. I would have voted for Battledroids, but they almost deserve their own poll.

Hey what about Machine Robo. He would totally KICK ALL! But I voted for Sigma(yes i know he's a pussy)but yet he somehow manages to alwyas come back alive. And ready for another round. Determined little f*cker he is!

The only definition of Machine Robo I know of is an entire line of robots from Poppy. AKA: "Gobots".

Are we talking a straight smashing-brawl, -no guns/lazers/missiles or anything?

Also, where is the option for Snatcher? The Sega-CD version has them fighting without flesh so they can count as a robot.

Wow besides the PC Engine and TurboGrafx... ED-209 is winning the competition!!

Who cares if it worked or not, eh?

BTW... what about the mouser robots from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Or those annoying lasso robots also from TMNT that you fought against in the arcade game...?
