Now that looks like an awesome time! And a great price too!

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

It's all a ruse.  Nat obviously shelled out the big bucks to get his hands on the awesome treat that is powergate.  I am beyond envious.

I actually heard really good things about m&m3. Also, US Magic Chase is definitely worth every penny! Its hella fun! I've played through it many times, even beat it on hard mode on my b-day  8)

Beating it on hard mode is one thing... but on your birthday?  Man, you've got some mad skillz!

Shit. I'd never pay that much for that stuff. Maybe Magical Chase, maybe, but why hell did you drop $100 on Might and Magic III? f*ck what these games are "worth" I want to hear why Might Magic III is $100 worth of fun. I demand satisfaction.

Your posts in this thread belie the claim that you are many things, but never stupid.  It's safe to assume that nat is not a dirty hobo and a couple hundred dollars likely won't make much of an impact on his finances, but why do you care anyway?  What exactly qualifies as $100 worth of fun to your addled mind?  Wait, don't answer that; I don't really care.

You might be right.  Powergate is obviously the cream of that crop.

I'll ask the newb question, is powergate not a good game?

Hell for $5 bucks I'd take it just to have more games =p

Powergate looks like, and could easily be, a SEGA MAster System game. This is not a good thing since the SEGA Master System was a generation behind the Turbo.

Yeah. PowerGate, from what I remember, is rather bland and lacks the spit-n-polish that PCE fans expect from shoot-em-ups.

Since PG is a cheap game, though, fans of the genre might consider checking it out. Personally, I like playing all these games, even if they are mediocre.

Powergate is sold.

I popped in M&MIII last night and played around with it for like 15 minutes. It seems like it'll be a pretty cool adventure but I'm going to need to invest some serious time into it and I have too many games in progress right now. Oh, and the save file takes up the entire f*cking memory capacity of the system. Don't bother trying to play this game unless you have at least one Bank cart laying around with a free bank on it. It won't even let you start the game unless it has room to make it's save file.

You lucky bastard. I'd love to have M&MIII. I'm been playing the cellphone version of M&M (not sure what it is called) and it is actually a blast to play. Yeah, it's a cellphone game and its actually fun.

I've played M&M games on the computer, but never had a chance to see M&MIII on Duo.
