To celebrate ramadan, I'm going to eat as much pork during the daytime as I can possibly stand.

I hope that everyone has enjoyed this equinox day. Now summer is over and fall has come for a few months.

Kirby Ultra Star is released today, too! I had anticipated a release of Kirby Super Star on Virtual Console, but I'm happy that they have come out with this DS title! This is one I'm surely getting for Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canucks!  Do you observe the occasion by eating reindeer and watching hockey?

Yes, there are two holidays celebrated today. Thanks for beating me to it, fellas :P.

Earlier today, I've learned that in his time, the trade routes needed to go to the Orient were owned by the Musliums. To travel on them, the high prices had to be paid or the person had to be killed and the ship seized. To avoid such harshness, Columbus had negotiated with many countries to provide the finances for his exploration, he had gotten the best opportunity to sail in Spain, and the king and queen provided him with three ships. It was estimated, as there were debates that the world was either 10,000, 12,000, or 25,000 miles/meters in diameter and he thought that it was the first amount, that it would only take him 3,000 miles to reach Japan, as 7,000 miles were recorded long ago by Marco Polo for the route. Several days later, his crew began to get nervous, as half of their food was gone and did not think they would have enough for the returning trip, so the members began to get mutanized, and told Christopher Colombus to turn back to Spain. He had refused, as he knew he only had one chance, but his crew made the deal that on October 12th, he would have to turn back or his head would be removed as the crew would be completely mutinized by then. On the morning of October 12th, one crew member had discovered land, and they had settled on one of the islands in the Carribean, thinking that they were in the Indies. It was said to be miraculous that he was able to find it.

To the Canadians eating a large feast on this day, may you stuff yourselves well, as the meal was meant to be enjoyed.

 HAPPYHALLOWEEN!

Tonight is the night when ghoulish beings roam the earth, and humans roaming the streets will be given candy as they visit different homes. What will people dress like for Halloween? I bought a Dragon Geisha costume from a Party City store a couple of days ago. If I have time, I might post up some pictures of it here.

Happy Halloween to everyone.  I have a tasty mix of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Milky Ways, 3 Musketeers, Kit Kats, and Snickers to dole out tonight; what kind of candy are y'all gonna hand out?

What will people dress like for Halloween?

No costume here.  I'm scary looking enough already.

Last year, me and my friends dressed up with a Star Wars theme. We had Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Aayla Secura. I'll post some pics later. I wanted to do Boba Fett for this year but did not have time to work on the costume. It will be ready for next year though! I will be attending a huge costume party tomorrow night with a Rock Band competition so I will have to whip up a costume and a makeshift band for the evening. I would like to see other peoples' costumes so if you have one, please post pics!

Happy Halloween dudes! I was the Pirate deluxe from party city, heh. It was a fun night; I went trick-or-treating and got a shit load of candy! After that, I went to a party and danced. I had this super strong tequila there, made me all warm and fuzzy inside :). I don't remember what it was called though, probably because I couldn't pronounce it. lol!

Haha, you're the oldest trick-or-treater I've ever heard of, Turbo_D  .

I've always hated Halloween.
