I for one enjoy Magical Chase, But its really not that great of a shooter, Arkhan is correct give me Cotton over Magical Chase any day.

For the people that own it how do you store yours? I keep mine on the shelf mixed in with the other TG16/Duo games.

The US Magical Chase .. graphically superior to both Japanese versions.  I'll let someone else point these out though.

I'll point out that this is incorrect.

I agree, it's incorrect.   They are different graphics, but I prefer the Japanese graphics.   The tetris-blocks and shit are alot nicer than the busted up wooden crap, for example.

Only complaint I have is the enemy differences.

game still kinda blows either way, though!

Hmm, I didn't realize that the differences were that extreme. I find myself not really preferring either one. I guess I like the castle in the Japanese version more, but why the changes with the main character sprite? They're so minor. I guess they wanted a slightly slightly less SD witch (the hat is smaller) but she's still pretty SD.

The pumpkin and rickety bridge crap makes the US version seem more halloweeny and retarded.  The Japanese one is more just random colorful crap.

I'm not sure what the tetris blocks are really supposed to represent, but they look better.

I purchased a bunch of spare Card Cases, and when games like this came out, I made a custom side label for them, so they are right on the shelf (or in storage) with the rest of the "normal" jeweled case releases.

yes, because Cotton sets that up, and maintains it.   It also does it better because it's a more consistent theme across all of the levels and enemies.

It also doesn't have a Japanese counterpart that doesn't have this theme.

Yep.

I bet if the game never came to the USA, it would barely be talked about.  The moron collectors certainly wouldn't mention it because they don't actually play games, and importing is hard when you're a moron.

Probably not.

Like I said, the first time I fired up Magical Chase, I was oblivious to its rarity or its cost.

and I was like yeah this blows. I'm bored.
