Also check out those air vents on the side...... a vehicle graphic sticker i made...hahaha, when you stand back it looks pretty damn legit!!! i am the sticker man :P

And I thought the 'real' fender vents that all the auto manufacturer's seem so enamored with were goofy and useless.  Vinyl adds horsepower yo!  :P

As my name suggests I drive a 1977 Ford F-150 with a 351m (5.8 L) V8, 4 Barrel carburetor, headers/duel exhaust. not the best cosmetically but runs great.

Don't mean to boast but my truck could probably stomp any of the cars on here "just saying" oh and by the way screw gas mileage, I only paid $600 for my truck plus around $1,000 for the upgrades, how much does a new car cost like $20,000? how long will it take you to spend that on gas? No offense intended.

I don't like driving. I drive because I have to.
You would like it if you drove something old.

I'll race your 77 ford truck through the twisties in my beat up old BMW 318is!  4 cylinders of powah!

Mine is the Silver 1991 318is 2nd from the right.  The blue Z4 was my lease up until last February, and the white 530i next to my car is my first BMW that I gave to my folks to drive.  The other two are my brother's two BMWs, an 08 Z4 lease and a 95 740il.   My 318is has 252K on it and the white 530i has 273K on it now.  Gotta love old cars from the same era as our NEC stuff!

[Sun 23:29] <Tatsujin> we have hard off, book off, house off, sports off, baby off, clothes off, jerk off, piss off etc

I just realized that even though I blabbed on and on in this thread I never posted a pic of my car:

Megasquirt II ECU, LC-1 lambda gauge, Ground Control springs, Illumina shocks (NB), FM front sway bar, 949 end links, Azenis RT-615 tires, Hard Dog Hard Core roll bar, Momo steering wheel with with Miatacage quick disconnect, Willans 6 point harness, a bunch of other stuff, and a bunch of other stuff to come. Crap for power, but insane in the corners.

I've always wanted a Megasquirt.

77FordTruckMan, I'll race you from any stoplight.  Seriously, I'll do it whether you want to or not.  I don't want to take the chance of getting stuck behind a slow-moving truck.  Granted, it's not as bad as getting stuck behind a Cadillac or something that moves even slower.

 :-k

Had it 11 years, and there's nothing like four wheel drive and a turbo for sucking petrol.

And even with a child seat in it too.

It's the road version of this:

Mmmm..... like the wheels.  BBS of sorts?  And +1 for Azenis tires... when the junky kumhos wear out on my car, that's whats going on next.  Its a hard choice between my 3 series and one of those Miatas... they're a blast to drive.

Yeah, BBS. Those are actually OEM wheels on the black/tan 92s. They are more or less the same as what came on the 16v GTIs, 3 series BMW, certain RX7s, etc. Like the BBS RS, but a single forged piece. They are less than 10lbs each, so I'm keeping them for as long as I can still buy good tires in 14".

RE: the Celica All Trac/GTFour, whatever its called. This is a nice car, and almost impossible to find in the US. To be honest though...its not that close to the WRC car...at all. Its not much closer to the WRC than a base level automatic Celica, unless you've gutted the interior, installed a full cage and race seats, doubled the hoursepower, and spent $80,000 on coil overs, tires, and transmission. Its a nice car, but there are reasons the WRC car cost at least five times as much money to build.

RE: MegaSquirt: a lot of people have tried very hard over the years to  make car parts sound sexual. "Buy this muffler and you'll get laid!" kind of stuff. My ECU takes the cake though. It has the most pornographic sounding name of any car part ever. The exact name is the DIYPNPMS, or Do It Yourself Plug and Play Megasquirt...and they didn't even realize this when they named it!
