Does this mean that Tatsujin and ElNino need to bump their PCE shooter count up to 112? (signature?)

Tokimeki was an Iga game(the head of the CV series), maybe we should bug him about completing Force Gear  :D

no, only if the share of the shmups-part is more than half of the overall game (rule)

Never heard of this rule
However, we have to think about adding them to the database, not as actual games of course but as some in-games related to Tokimeki.

Oh my barking dog! This reminds me of the uberfast shooter included in Seyia Monogatari Taikenban.
Only japanese can spend so much time developing freaking awesome games just to include them as minigames.

Awesome!  I've never heard of these two mini-shooters and didn't get far enough along in Tokimeki to stumble upon them.  Thanks to Nintega for starting this thread, and thanks to Tatsujin for the save states; I'll check 'em out tonight.

fortunately, i already could tried those states. unfortunately, they do not work on my Magic Engine V1.0. means of, i can't choose them from the load menu. so may be it depends on which version of ME those states were taken.

Holly shit. There are a lot of minigames in TokiMemo, but I never ran across anything like this. Its pretty obvious that Force Gear is an abandoned project. This is very similar to the unfinished Thunderforce VI hidden in Segagagaga on DC.

Dangnabbit!  I'll try 'em out on v0.9.9b5.

To anyone interested, a new version of M.E. (v1.1.2) was recently released.  Get it now!

*edit* There's a copy on ebay ending soon and for cheap if anyone wants it.

Good find (it's those "I don't know the title" auctions).  Maybe I'll bid on it.

Edit: Nevermind -- the auction was already over.  #-o
