Dang, you and I opened up a can of worms here :)  And I don't think it will be over either  8-[

And with that, I will let this thread revert back to talking about Ebay shooting itself in the foot  :-({|=

Oh - and while we are on the subject, I think "Ebay" is a stupid name

Had this been a normal day, I probably wouldn't have responded the way I did. But if you take a look here, you'll probably understand why I'm a bit edgy.

Ya, read about your situation even before you sent me this link.  Unbelievable!  Good luck to you and your family.  No hard feelings.  And Luna is a wonderful name for a little girl.  Congratulations

I fully support sellers not being able to leave feedback. It was only used retributively against buyers who left them bad feedback.

As far as I'm concerned, once the seller has the customer's money, that's the only feedback the seller needs.

Agreed. As ridiculous as I originally thought the whole idea was, I think it was a smart move. If the buyer pays you for the item, positive feedback. If the buyer doesn't pay you, file a non-paying-bidder dispute. End of story, no?

Remember all the sellers who used to put "I will leave feedback as soon as you do"? Ridiculous.
