Hey Everyone (Newb)
« on: May 23, 2008, 04:32:21 PM »
Yeah I just found this site randomly (Google!) and decided to pop in.  I owned a TG16 when I was younger and just recently picked one up again.  I'm from Canada so no PCE for me but I would love to find one someday!  Anyway, I mainly collect this stuff for fun but I don't own much TG16 games yet so I'll need to pick up some basics like Bonk first!

Here is a pic of my recently acquired TG16...

Anyway, feel free to check out my youtube site I have many random videos almost all on old video game junk!

Well Im a newb too. I've Been into the TG16 since it came out here in the States in the early 90's (yup im an old dude LOL) I have a TG16 cdrom with a 3.0 card and about 80 games, Turbo express with jenkie sound. I also just bought a Core Grafx with about 15 games and 5 controllers. I have been missing the oldies for quite sometime so i've actually hooked everything back up more then likely permanent as I have found myself in this videogame funk for alot of years. The games were just so much more fun back in the day. Anyway welcome aboard

I've seen your video showing off the TG16 befor.Though i will say,SFII for the pce isn't rare the game is rather common these days and it go's for $10.00+ or more cib.

Just thought i'd point that out to ya given you're comment at the end of the video concerning,SFII for it.

lol. Welcome folks.  Don't mind all the nerdiness here, I mean these folks know the tg16/pce better than anyone else on the western hemisphere.  :D

Welcome aboard, mn12bird.  Nice pic you took there.

Welcome aboard to you too, Windancer.  If you need help getting that Express fixed, there's a wealth of info. on these boards and a couple of people who can do the deed for you if you're not handy with a soldering iron.

Adding PCE console specific layer on top of that, makes for an interesting challenge (no, not a reference to Ys II).

Yeah I remember when I was a kid imagining how awesome a CD-ROM video game system would be while looking at pictures of the TG16 CD-ROM add-on!  I had Bravoman and Legendary Axe II when I was a kid.
