Hey guys, long time lurker, first post :)  I just put my collection up on ebay, so please have a look:

http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZrarebucky

Some real nice gems here, including a basically new Ninja Gaiden and a factory sealed Ys I & II.  I am not sure if this needs to be cross-posted to the other forums here (PCE and/or PC-FX sales since I have Last Imperial Prince up), so just let me know.  Thanks and let me know if you have any questions.

I had my eye on a game then I realized you are charging $7 to ship 1 hucard, first class?

Yup, blame ebay's higher and higher fees.  I can't take a loss on a $2.99 sale, sorry.  Just factor it in to your total purchase price, that's all.  Never understood why people complain about that...

Partially because padding shipping to avoid fees is against Ebay policy, and to be honest makes people look dishonest. Not just from the stance of avoiding fees, but for the fact that even counting cost of packaging/handling, etc. for $7 it should at least be priority ( for that much there are a number of free flat rate boxes that could ship multiple games priority). Taking  a loss is also the chance you take on Ebay.

Besides you have this listed here, CAG (Cheap Ass Gamer), Sealed games, SHUMPS, NeoGeo, maybe others...that much exposure should lead to decent returns.

Yep,I wasnt going to say anything, just wondered if others would catch that.  Its not diff then the ram sellers selling sticks of ram for .99 then charging 10 bucks per stick to ship. People who don't combine shipping are a$$holes, just greedy a$$holes. sometimes its best to just not bid on these types of auctions unless you are just sure you have to have whats being sold,or in the end after shipping you can still get it below the normal value. What I recommend on Rarebuckys is that if you have something you  want, wait till the last 30 secs to bid. No point in jacking this guys auction values up with shipping like that. Just wait till the last min,see what you can get on the cheap, and if nothing else, dont bid. Seriously, after you hit  acertain price, sometimes its cheaper to just get stuff from Hit-Japan or Toshi or elsewhere when people in the US are charging damn near EMS rates themselves.

Shipping on this item is $6.99 for first class USPS shipping within the US.  If you win additional items shipping will only be $3 for each additional item, so win a bunch and save big!

Fair combined shipping this is not. If someone wants to do so they can pay via paypal then after the item arrives take pics of the shipping package and so how much the seller spent to ship, and get funds back in a claim.

So for 3 loose hucards, I would pay $13 when the actual shipping cost would be around $2.50-$3.00, including Delivery Confirmation.

Just how am I saving big?

Christ people, thanks for all the threadcrapping  ](*,)  If you don't like the shipping charges, please don't bid.  You can take a look at my feedback and you will see I never get any complaints about shipping.  Anything above 13 ounces automatically goes priority so yeah, the charges are close.  I have been buying items on ebay recently that are charging $10+ for domestic shipping for items of the same weight, and I certainly don't complain.  Just factor it into the total.  No more discussion of this, please.  If any forum members win I give discounted shipping so keep that in mind.  Thank you.

Any suggestion of the sort is ridiculous.  I posted this here to give forum members a chance to get some rare games, not for to you to be advising people how to skirt the system.  I don't know what your problem is but it is not cool to be advising people to do this.  Let people decide on their own what is fair and what isn't and if you don't think it's fair just don't bid.  Don't be an ass.

You are actually wrong.  The cheapest flat rate box is now $9.95 as of the increased USPS rates last week.  I know full well all shipping charges as I ship every day.

Besides flat rate, there are the varryingVHS style boxes, and other smaller size Priority boxed that foe 1-3 games usually end up under $7.  Many of us on here also ship very regulary (see my sig...I have sold to many of the regulars one here).  I understand your stance that if you don't like the shipping, don't bid.  Yet you have to understand that many HATE sellers that overcharge for shipping.  My 2 cents

My PO doesn't have those boxes unfortunately.  And yes, my stance is if you don't like the shipping charges, don't bid.  And certainly don't go around telling others how to try and cheat the system on my auctions (not you but others).  That is going way beyond forum etiquette.  I am really sorry I tried to let people here know about this stuff.  I would have loved to post these as sales here but unfortunately I need these all gone at once as I just moved.  So again, please, no more discussions on this stupid shipping topic unless you have something constructive to add or some legitimate questions about the items.  Thanks.
