amiibos, you love em or you hate em. i do love the deal i got for these 3. 50 bucks i paid locally which was worth it for gold mario! also some replacement aes joystick balls to replace my old cracked ones!

Why is it worth it? What do they do that makes them worth the price of actual games? For that matter, will you be opening and using them, or just staring at them in their package like a collectard caught up in another whirlwind fad before it all eventually crashes? What factors are at play to decide the measure of worth of these things, outside of just scalper demands? I only ask this because I have seen people go crazy town over Skylanders, paying scalper prices for that shit too, then not being able to sell it for pennies on the dollar afterwards when they come to their senses, too little too late.
